How to get to Oak Field School

 

Public transport

Directions from the M1
Whether coming from the North or South it is easier to come off the motorway at Junction 26.  From there take the Nottingham Road (B600) towards Nottingham City; at the roundabout take the 5th exit along the Woodhouse Way (A6002); follow that road through traffic lights straight over a roundabout and at the next traffic lights turn left along Strelley Road (B6004); after a short distance turn right along Wigman Road; follow that road for approximately 1.2miles and Oak Field School is on the left after Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre.

 

Directions from Nottingham City
Take the Ilkeston Road (A609) until you come to the large double roundabout straight after the Nottingham University Jubilee Campus – get in the right hand lane; take the 4th exit along  Western Boulevard (A6514); at the traffic lights (Beechdale Baths on your left) turn left along Beechdale Road; follow that road for approximately 1.5 miles straight over 3 small roundabouts then turn right through the dual carriageway up to Oak Field School.
