Oak Field School

14 - 19 Phase

Learning in Key Stage 4 focuses on team work, community projects and building autonomy.

Including:

Practical English and maths, focused on life skills.

Working in groups on projects that involve planning, working together, like hosting exhibitions, coffee mornings and fundraisers.

Developing careers knowledge, work skills and understanding job roles.

Using and creating stories and drama to explore PSHE including Relationships and Sex Education.

Regular physical activity.

Learning in the 6th Form focuses on community-facing skills and applying skills in more contexts, more independently.

Including:

Communicating and spending time a wide range of people, especially others within the wider community.

Applying practical English and maths skills to problem solve in work and leisure contexts.

Developing work and enterprise skills in realistic contexts.

Using the Arts to celebrate diversity, achievements and communication.

Building on the foundations to date of Relationship and Sex Education, promoting safe and fulfilling relationships with others. 

Regular physical activity.
